Google Sheets - New Row Added source suddenly stopped emitting new rows

Trever Faden : Hi Team - The GOOGLE SHEETS:NEW ROW ADDED (INSTANT) source does not seem to be picking up all new rows. It crapped out on me a few days ago and hasn’t identified a new row since. It does look like it’s polling for a refresh token (per the logs) but the events aren’t being created….

Dylan Sather (Pipedream) : would you mind visiting the source and sharing its URL with me (e.g. https://pipedream.com/sources/dc_abc123)?

How long was the source successfully running before it failed?

Could you also share details about the spreadsheet? Roughly how many rows / columns does it have?

Trever Faden : https://pipedream.com/sources/dc_lVunn43

Trever Faden : It’s been running since June 1

Trever Faden : spreadsheet = 72 rows, 12 cols

Trever Faden : 72 filled rows

Trever Faden : 1000 rows on the actual sheet

Dylan Sather (Pipedream) : Thanks. I’ll take a look at this ASAP and see if I can reproduce on my end.

Trever Faden : thank you!@!

Trever Faden : Any luck on this ?

Dylan Sather (Pipedream) : I apologize, I have not been able to reproduce yet. Would you be comfortable creating a new source for now? We’ll take a look at this ASAP.

@U019EEQLNSG FYI. Have you seen this issue crop up on any of your running sources? Do you have an older source that’s been running for some time that you could test?

Trever Faden : no worries! yah, i’ll make a new source!

Jay Vercellone : Hey there!
Sorry, I don’t have an old source for this. I did see something similar in the past, where the spreadsheet would have a blank/empty rows that were reported as part of the spreadsheet “size”, but not as part of the actual content of the spreadsheet. I’ll spin up a new source and try to reproduce.
, do the events emitted so far reflect the actual content of the spreadsheet? In other words, do you have rows in the spreadsheet that do not have a corresponding event being emitted?

Trever Faden : nope! it’s been pretty accurate thus far

Trever Faden : and when i created a new event it workedI

Trever Faden : but for some reason it stopped working

Trever Faden : beyond my understanding :stuck_out_tongue:

Jay Vercellone : Right, so what do you mean by “stopped working”? You mean that you added new rows (with actual data) and those didn’t cause a new event to be emitted?

Trever Faden : correct!

Trever Faden :
